Anne was able to publish on Amazon, her first e book , The Diary of an Adventurous Australian Overseas Traveller on May 3, 2015. She is delighted that her overseas travels from both 1974-1975, and 2013, have been recorded in this publication.
It was always her dream to travel overseas. She left Australia as an inexperienced 20 year old traveller, not knowing what to expect. Her diversified and interesting experiences from this time, have prepared her for all of her future overseas trips.
Anne’s 2013 diary shows her to be a “more seasoned traveller.” Her diary, highlights her ability to meet throughout her travels, with so many different people. She still manages to engage in some “interesting experiences.” Anne has not lost her touch.

Her diaries are dedicated to two men, Tony Facciolo and Harold Ward, who have had an impact on her life.
Her 1974-75 diary is dedicated to Tony Facciolo , hotel concierge, and later World President of Les Clef D’Or. Anne met Tony at the Qantas check-in desk Heathrow Airport, in 1975, when he introduced himself. In the mid -1990’s he asked Anne, whom he nicknamed “Margaret Thatcher,” to write the story of his fascinating life. Tony passed away of cancer in Sydney in October 2005, and sadly that story remains unwritten.
Anne’s 2013 diary is dedicated to her long-term free spirit and partner, Harold Ward. Harold and Anne met at a surf club ball in Shellharbour, NSW in 1976. Anne returned to Wakefield, England to honour Harold’s exploits on the Yorkshire football field . His team , Fryston Colliery , of which he was the well- respected goalkeeper, won the May 22, 1963 West Riding County FA Challenge Cup. ( Harold was regarded as Bruce Grobbelaar , former Liverpool goalkeeper, of his time ) Harold passed away of cancer in Sydney in September 2011.
